Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with children (ages 10+), adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma,

addiction, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed,

stuck, or unsure how to move forward, therapy can provide support, clarity, and practical tools

    for change.

  • My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy

(CBT). I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel safe to explore your

experiences while also developing tools to support meaningful, lasting change.

  • I work with individuals ages 10 and older, including adolescents and adults. Therapy is tailored

to each person’s developmental stage, needs, and goals.

  • I offer both in-person sessions at my Cincinnati office and telehealth sessions for clients located

in Ohio. This allows flexibility in how you access care based on your preferences and schedule.

  • Individual sessions are $125 per session, and couples or family sessions are $150 per session.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise discussed.

  • Redwood Grove Counseling is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. However,

I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-

network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so it’s recommended that you contact your

    insurance provider directly for details.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee,

and missed appointments without notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • You can reach out through the contact form on this website, by phone, or by email. From there,

we’ll briefly connect to discuss your needs and schedule your first session.

  • The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy,

and begin identifying your goals. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no

pressure to have everything figured out.

  • Confidentiality is an important part of therapy. There are some legal and ethical limits to

confidentiality (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or situations involving abuse or

neglect), which will be discussed in more detail at the start of treatment.

  • Redwood Grove Counseling does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are

experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • If you have additional questions or would like to learn more about getting started, I invite you to

reach out. I’m here to help you take the next step.
