POLICIES

Billing and scheduling are all handled through your therapist, making an often complicated

process simple and stress free.

Fees & Payment

Individual therapy sessions are $125 per session, and couples or family sessions are $150 per

session. Redwood Grove Counseling operates as a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance

directly. However, upon request, clients may be provided with a superbill, which can be

submitted to their insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise discussed.

 Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.

Missed appointments without notice (“no-shows”) will be charged the full session fee.

️ In-Person & Telehealth Services

Redwood Grove Counseling offers both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet your needs

and preferences. Telehealth services are provided through a secure platform and are available to

clients located in the state of Ohio at the time of the session.

 Communication

Communication outside of sessions is typically limited to scheduling and administrative matters.

Please note that email and contact forms are not secure methods of communication, and sensitive

or confidential information should not be shared through these channels. Response times may

vary, but messages are typically returned within 24–48 business hours.

 Emergencies

Redwood Grove Counseling does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are

experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

 Good Faith Estimate

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, clients who are self-pay have the right to receive a

“Good Faith Estimate” outlining the expected cost of services. You may request this estimate at

any time prior to or during treatment.

 Services for Minors

For clients under the age of 18, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required prior to

beginning services. Additional information regarding confidentiality and parental involvement

will be discussed at the start of treatment.
